Report: Eagles QB Michael Vick’s Concussion Symptoms Getting Worse

Eagles QB Michael Vick‘s concussion symptoms are getting progressively worse, according to Howard Eskin.

This is obviously a very concerning situation for Vick. Head injuries and concussions are bad enough, but this could be the kind of injury that keeps him out indefinitely.

Philadelphia will keep Nick Foles in the starting lineup and continue to rely on the rookie quarterback as the season wears on.

Geoff Mosher reports that Eagles QB Michael Vick still has yet to reached the baseline on the final phase of the required concussion tests.

Vick will be held out of Thursday’s practice, as well as this weekends game against the Dallas Cowboys.

This is quite concerning considering that he has had multiple weeks to pass these tests and he’s still dealing the after effects. Rookie Nick Foles will get another start with Vick out.

It seems almost certain that Vick will not be playing under his current contract next season. Philadelphia could elect to cut him outright or ask him to take a pay cut. Either way, big changes are expected throughout the Eagles organization.
