Michael Vick Will Test The FA Market In The Hope Of Securing A Starting Job

Eagles QB Michael Vick mentioned on Thursday that he intends to test the open market in the coming months and is hoping to find a starting job in the process, per Jeff McLane.

Vick added that even if the Eagles were to offer him a contract to be their backup next season, he would still take a shot at securing job as a starting quarterback before considering all of his options.

Vick, 34, should end up being one of the more interesting free agents to watch just based on the fact this year’s free agent quarterback class is very limited. Vick is really the only player you would even consider giving a starting job to, but it’s hard to say whether or not teams still view him as a capable of starter.

He’s previously said that he would be open to returning as Nick Foles backup if he’s unable to find interest as a starting quarterback.

We have Vick tentatively listed as the No. 42 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
