Mike Evans Could Be An Option For The Browns At No. 4 Overall?

According to Mike Freeman of the Bleacher Report, Texas A&M WR Mike Evans could be on the Browns’ radar at No. 4 overall.

  • Freeman mentions that this isn’t smoke and there’s “very warm fire.

Meanwhile, Ed Werder of ESPN reports that people around the league wouldn’t be surprised to see LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr get drafted ahead of Evans.

This along illustrates the mixed signals being circulated right now.

It’s worth mentioning that Jay Glazer reported on Tuesday that Evans is one of the players who has been shooting up draft boards and could end up being a top-five pick.

Earlier in the day, Mary Kay Cabot mentioned that she’s “hearing” that the Browns’ perfect draft would be taking OT Greg Robinson at No. 4, QB Teddy Bridgewater at No. 26 and then targeting either a receiver or a running back such as Carlos Hyde at No. 35 overall.

The Browns could go in so many different directions on Thursday that it’s almost impossible to complete rule anything out at this point.
