Mike Holmgren Open To Coaching Again?

Now that Mike Holmgren is on his way out of Cleveland, the question becomes whether or not he will look to secure another job with an NFL team in some capacity. It’s unlikely that he’ll be hired in the same capacity, but he seems to be open to the idea of possibly returning to the sidelines.

I’m leaving it open,” Holmgren said, per Mary Kay Cabot. “I did miss the coaching thing.”

Holmgren’s record as a head coach is a very respectable 272-161, with two Super Bowl appearances. It’s hard to say whether or not this is a topic that will be discussed towards the end of the season, but coaches that have won a Super Bowl in the past always get tossed out as speculative options once jobs start opening up.
