Reuben Frank from CSNPhilly.com reports that Andy Reid has admitted that DT Mike Patterson is expected to miss the entire season due to brain surgery.
Patterson had surgery back in January to repair an AVM. He had been given six months to recover, however his progress has not been good and is now expected to miss the entire 2012-2013.
Patterson had been diagnosed with Cerebral arteriovenous malformation back in 2011 and still managed to play 15 games before missing the final game due to influenza. Â The Eagles don’t believe that this is a career-threatening injury.
