It’s starting to look more and more like Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace could end his holdout in the coming days. Wallace is expected to report to the Steelers on Tuesday, according to Mark Kaboly.
“Settle down people. Wallace coming tomorrow now. Doesn’t matter because he won’t be allowed to practice until Monday anyways,” tweeted Kaboly.
New rules in the CBA are the reason why Wallace can’t practice until next Monday. However, the time off the field should give Wallace plenty of time to get acquainted with new offensive coordinator Todd Haley’s offense. With the Steelers season opener just under two weeks away, expect some inconsistent play out of Wallace during the season’s first Sunday night game at Denver.
