Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that Minnesota DT Ra’Shede Hageman has visited or worked out for the Titans, Steelers, Falcons, Cardinals and Colts.
Hageman measured 6-foot-6 and weighed in at 318 pounds at this year’s Scouting Combine. He posted a 40-yard dash time of 5.02 seconds to go along with 32 reps on the bench press and a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap.
Hageman will be a very interesting player to watch in the draft given that there is talk that he could be taken anywhere from the mid-first to some point in the second round. He offers great size and could be versatile defensive lineman at the next level.
Some evaluators have pointed to Hageman’s lack of consistency as one of the big knocks against him. However, if a team can get him to live up to his potential, he could be a Pro Bowl caliber lineman for years to come.
We have the Cowboys taking Hageman at No. 16 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
