Mississippi State DL Jeffery Simmons announced Thursday that he’s declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Simmons is widely considered to be a first-round prospect and one of the best defensive linemen in the country.
During his three-year college career at Mississippi State, Simmons recorded 159 tackles, 30.5 tackles for a loss, six sacks, five forced fumbles, two recoveries, one defensive touchdown and seven pass defenses over the course of 37 games.
