Ravens Expect TE Ed Dickson To Play In Week 1

Update:

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said on Tuesday that TE Ed Dickson will be re-evaluated in a week, but expects him to play in the team’s season-opener against the Broncos, per Aaron Wilson.

It will be interesting to see if he suits up at all during the preseason or if they choose to play veteran TE Visanthe Shiancoe instead

Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters on Monday that a recent MRI revealed that TE Ed Dickson has a torn hamstring, per Aaron Wilson.

  • Harbaugh added that Dickson is expected to miss “a week or so.

Dickson, 26, was injured during the team’s Sunday practice. This comes just after the team lost starting TE Dennis Pitta for the season, but the good news is that it’s not as serious as it could have been.

Baltimore added Visanthe Shiancoe, who has reportedly looked pretty decent during training camp, to bolster their tight end unit.
