The San Diego Chargers officially announced that they’ve signed WR Geremy Davis off of the Giants’ practice squad on Wednesday.
- Jordan Raanan of ESPN first reported that a “mystery team” was signing Davis.
The Chargers also signed OT Tyreek Burwell and CB Michael Lee to their practice squad.
Davis, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL draft by the Giants. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $2,407,084 contract when the team cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Davis wound sign on to the Giants’ practice squad a day later.
In 2015, David appeared in 10 games and recorded two receptions for 21 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
