Ndamukong Suh Wraps Up Visit With Titans

Paul Kuharsky reports that free agent DT Ndamukong Suh has wrapped up his visit with the Titans on Sunday.

Suh has now met with the Saints and Titans since becoming available last week and there has been talk that the Seahawks could be in the mix for him. However, the prevailing belief is that he’ll end up signing with the highest bidder, which could make it difficult for Seattle, considering they’ve resisted getting heavily involved bidding for the top free agents this year.

It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.

Suh told Jordan Schultz that he wanted to take his time with this process and evaluate a “plethora of options” with his family, so it’s possible he’ll take more visits in the coming days.

Suh, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Lions back in 2010. He spent five years in Detroit before signing a six-year, $114 million contract that included $60 million guaranteed with the Dolphins a few years ago.

Suh was set to make base salaries of $16.985 million (2018), $18.985 million (2019), and $18.36 million (2020) over the remainder of the contract when the Dolphins designated him as a post-June 1 release.

In 2017, Suh appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
