News & Rumors: Kolb, Orton, Randy Moss, Kreutz, Clabo, Gallery, Breaston

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora provided a number of rumors so here’s a look at some free agency options.

Randy Moss

  • Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets could turn some of their attention to WR Randy Moss now that they have signed Santonio Holmes. Rumors have suggested that Moss could end up with the Jets for a number of months now and it would really make sense for Moss.

Kevin Kolb

  • La Canfora notes that the Kevin Kolb could be on his way to the Cardinals in the next 48 hours. This is an interesting note because it was reported last night that the talks between the Eagles and Cardinals could be dying down because of the number of options that the Cardinals were considering.

Kyle Orton

  • La Canfora mentions that Dolphins are a real possibility for Kyle Orton. The Dolphins have been tied to a number of quarterback options so it will be interesting to see who they end up landing.

    Olin Kreutz

    • Jason La Canfora tweets that the Bears, 49ers and Cardinals are all in play for C Olin Kreutz who was believed to be re-signing with the Bears.

    Tyson Clabo

    • The Falcons, Bills and the Seahawks have all shown interest in Tyson Clabo. He has also been rumored to be returning to Atlanta but is likely testing the free agent waters before making a decision.

    Robert Gallery

    • La Canfora suggests that the Seahawks are in on former Oakland Raider Robert Gallery but adds that they would only sign one of Clabo or Gallery. No real surprise here considering that Tom Cable is the new offensive line coach for Seattle and coached Gallery for the past few seasons. I really think he signs with Seattle.

    Steve Breaston

    • La Canfora tweets that Kansas City Chiefs are talking with WR Steve Breaston who played under Chiefs head coach Todd Haley while in Arizona. Breaston has been considered a potential bargain in this years draft and the Chiefs could really use some more weapons at receiver.
