NFC North Notes: Bears, Lions, Packers, Vikings

Bears

  • The Chicago Bears officially ruled out G Eric Kush (neck) for Week 8’s game against the Jets and list LB Khalil Mack (ankle) and WR Allen Robinson (groin) as questionable.

Lions

New Lions DT Damon Harrison says he’s working “day and night” with the coaching staff and his teammates to get up to speed on the team’s defense.

Our d-line coach has done a pretty good job of getting me up to speed on some things,” Harrison said, via DetroitLions.com. “I know it’ll be a work in progress. I don’t expect to pick up everything in a couple days, but we’re working at it day and night.

Lions HC Matt Patricia declined to say whether Harrison will make his debut this weekend.

Whenever we can get him ready to go and feeling comfortable in the system — he just got here the other day, so we’re going to try to do the best we can with it and we’ll see how it goes,” Patricia said.

  • The Detroit Lions officially ruled out RB Theo Riddick (knee) for Week 8’s game against the Seahawks and list DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) and LB Jarrad Davis (calf) as questionable.

Packers

  • Rob Demovsky reports that the charges against Packers TE Lance Kendricks were refiled in his possession of marijuana case from last year and he now has a court appearance scheduled for Nov. 15.
  • The Green Bay Packers list WR Randall Cobb, OT Jason Spriggs (ankle) and WR Equanimous St. Brown (knee) as questionable for Week 8.
