NFC Notes: Buccaneers, Cowboys, Saints

Buccaneers

  • John Clune, the attorney for Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston, filed court documents on Monday showing that his client “reached an agreement” with the Arizona Uber driver, who filed a sexual battery lawsuit, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
  • The woman accused Winston of groping her in the drive-through of a Mexican restaurant in March 2016.

Cowboys

  • Cowboys HC Jason Garrett said LT Tyron Smith won’t practice on Tuesday because of his stinger and he’ll be a game-time decision in Week 13. (Brandon George)
  • Garrett added Smith “has seen doctors” to get checked out.
  • Cowboys DT David Irving has a personal issue and hasn’t attended meetings and practices, but Dallas is hopeful he can return next week. (Calvin Watkins)

Saints

The Saints signed veteran WR Brandon Marshall a few weeks ago, but he has yet to make his debut. Instead, Marshall has been on the sidelines focusing on learning the team’s offense.

“I have a headset on and I listen to every call,” Marshall said, via Nola.com. “I just play a mock game in my head.

“It’s been a process, but it’s been a fun process getting in a rhythm with the guys and just watching those guys go out there and ball out,” Marshall added. “It’s been fun.
