Eagles
- Mike Kaye of NJ Advance Media believes that the Eagles could pursue a linebacker this offseason with veteran LB Jordan Hicks set to hit the open market.
- Kaye mentions Michigan LB Devin Bush Jr as a player to keep an eye on with the team’s first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Redskins
- John Keim of ESPN reports that the Redskins have yet to have “any meaningful contract discussions” with impending free-agent LB Preston Smith.
- While the Redskins need to find a quarterback, Keim mentions that they don’t need to force themselves into drafting one.
- Keim believes the Redskins could opt for a depth chart of QB Colt McCoy, another veteran backup and a mid-round selection.
