Falcons

Falcons HC Dan Quinn confirmed Thursday that he will serve as the team’s defensive coordinator for the 2019 season.

“[I went back] to say what things would I do that I’m doing now that I wouldn’t be able to do in that same role? I even turned back the clock when I did that role in for a good portion of the season in 2016 to say what are some of the things or issues that came up that I wanted to make sure I address if that situation came about,” Quinn said, via AtlantaFalcons.com. “There will be some roles that will be different in game.

According to Quinn, there’s no impending announcement regarding their next offensive coordinator.

“I would say there’s nothing to announce today,” Quinn said, via ESPN.com. “I’m not going to put like two weeks or a week [on it], but it’s not in the next few days.”

“As I cast a wide net, you better make sure you’re going through the process that you can to explore all avenues,” Quinn added. “What I can say, there’s a lot of people that want to be here. … There were a lot of calls, I could say, of people that wanted to be part of this.”

Giants

Giants QB Eli Manning said during an interview on WFAN that all options were on the table at the moment in regards to his future with the team.

“I don’t know if it’s leaning one way or the other right now,” Manning said, via Tom Rock of Newsday. “I think this is kind of the time to reflect and figure out what’s the best thing going forward.”
