NFC Notes: Cowboys, Falcons, Redskins

Cowboys

  • On Monday, the NFL informed Cowboys DE Randy Gregory that he’s been fully reinstated from suspension.
  • Gregory had been conditionally reinstated last week, but he’s now cleared to practice and play in games.

Falcons

Falcons owner Arthur Blank tells Jeff Schultz of The Athletic he supports GM Thomas Dimitroff and HC Dan Quinn in regards to their handling of the Julio Jones situation.

“I have full faith in TD and DQ to handle this in the best manner that is feasible for us,” Blank said. “We love Julio, and I have said our wishes are that he be a Falcon for life. As always, I am available to our staff as needed and at appropriate times.

Reports from earlier this morning mentioned that Jones has no plans to show up for training camp until his contract is addressed (NFLTR).

Redskins

Redskins RB Chris Thompson tells Sirius XM NFL Radio that he’ll be ready to go for the start of training camp.

“I’m feeling pretty good right now,” Thompson said. “I will start practicing with the guys from day one but just taking it slowly. The focus is to really be ready by that first regular-season game.”
