NFC Notes: Giants, Lions, Packers, Redskins

Giants

  • Giants CB Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie said his recent suspension was the result of “miscommunication” and a “misunderstanding” with HC Ben McAdoo and added that his relationship with McAdoo is “good now.” (Ralph Vacchiano)
  • Rodgers-Cromartie went on to say that he never requested a trade from the team and that he cleaned out his locker because: “I’m dramatic. I’m crazy.” (Ralph Vacchiano)

Lions

Lions TE Eric Ebron admitted that his productivity “hasn’t been the best” this year.

It hasn’t been the best,” said Ebron, via Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press. “But then again, it’s early in the season and I can’t be down upon myself. … Ten games left and just go out there and play the rest of these 10 games and hopefully it all turns around for the offense entirely because not only my performance but all of us need to get it together and get it going.”

Packers

Packers HC Mke McCarthy said that there is no timetable for QB Aaron Rodgers‘ recovery from a broken collarbone at this point in time.

I don’t have any roster moves to give you today,” McCarthy said, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “But as far as Aaron’s situation, our focus clearly is just to get through the surgery and just see where he is. I’m not personally looking in that direction. My focus is on Aaron’s health right now.”

  • McCarthy said Packers OLB Vince Biegel was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice, while CB Demetri Goodson (knee) did not practice. (Michael Cohen)
