NFL Draft Notes: Friday 5/2

 

Here’s a running list of reports from Friday regarding prospects visits, workouts and rumors:

  • New – 2014 NFL Mock Draft
  • FSU DT Timmy Jernigan is being replaced by USC C Marcus Martin on the list of prospects who will be in attendance for this year’s NFL draft. (Ian Rapoport)
  • Eastern Washington DE/OLB Anthony Larry worked out for the Patriots and Eagles and reportedly has interest from the Packers, Chargers, Seahawks, Browns and Ravens. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Adams State K David Van Voris worked out for the Jets on Friday. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Nebraska WR Quincy Enunwa visited with the Raiders and Steelers. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Stony Brook WR Malcolm Eugene worked out for Raiders, Jets and Colts. (Aaron Wilson)

  • Free agent QB David Carr mentioned that “about six or seven teams,” including the Browns, have expressed interest in signing him in the event that they draft his brother, Derek Carr. (NFLTR)
  • Michigan OT Taylor Lewan may not be an option for the Giants as GM Jerry Reece stressed taking “the cleanest guy possible” in round one. (Jordan Raanan)
  • Some NFL teams would like to see Missouri edge rusher Kony Ealy add about 15 lbs and convert to playing defensive tackle at the next level. (NFLTR)
