NFL Draft Rumors: Sunday Running List

49ers

  • 49ers fourth-round pick Joe Looney is expected to start at right guard. (Lowell Cohn)

Bears

  • Bears GM Phil Emery mentioned that they could end up with six cornerbacks on the 53-man roster.  (Mark Potash)

Bills

  • The Bills are expected to use sixth-round pick Mark Asper as a center.  (Rob Mosely)

Chargers

  • The Chargers fifth-round pick Johnnie Troutman will have a shot to compete for the starting left guard job. (Michael Ghelken)

Colts

  • The Colts are fine Jerraud Powers as their starting right cornerback.  (Mike Chappell)
  • The Colts expect fifth-round NT Josh Chapman to be cleared by mid-June or July after undergoing meniscus surgery. (Mike Chappell)

Cowboys

  • The Cowboys would have drafted Michael Brockers at No. 14 and Bobby Wagner at No. 45  if they weren’t able to trade up for Morris Claiborne. (Calvin Watkins)

Dolphins

  • Miami reportedly views fourth-round pick Lamar Miller as a kick returner and developmental running back. (Ben Volin)
  • Dolphins plan to use fifth-round pick Josh Kaddu as an outside linebacker next season. (Miami Herald)

Eagles

  • The Eagles will consider using fourth-round pick CB Brandon Boykin as a kick returner next season. (Bo Wulf)

Falcons

  • Wisconsin C Peter Konz reportedly fell in this year’s draft because of medical concerns regarding his ankle and blood clotting. (D. Orlando Ledbetter)

Jaguars

  • Jaguars GM Gene Smith mentioned that they’ll most likely use WR Justin Blackmon as an “X” receiver or split end next season. (John Oehser)

Lions

  • Lions No. 196 overall pick Jonte Green will be in the mix for the starting cornerback job opposite Chris Houston. (Tim Twentyman)

Packers

  • The Packers are not expected to sign a veteran quarterback and will head into next season with Graham Harrell and B.J. Colemen.(Bob McGinn)

Rams

  • Rookie WR’s Brian Quick and Chris Givens are the favorites to start at wide receiver for the Rams in next season. (Jim Thomas)

Ravens

  • Gino Gradkowski, Kelechi Osemele will compete with Jah Reid for the Ravens’ left guard position. (Chris Korman)

Steelers

  • Depending on what happens with NT Casey Hampton, fourth-round selection Alameda Ta’amu could end up replacing him next season. (Gerry Dulac)

Vikings

  • The Vikings are expected to use newly drafted Robert Blanton at safety next season. (Tom Pelissero)
