NFL Lifts Free Agent S Will Hill’s Suspension

The NFL officially lifted the free agent S Will Hill‘s suspension on Tuesday, according to Doug Kyed.

Hill was suspended for 10  games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy back in March and hasn’t found any reported interest since then.

Hill has already been suspended three times during his NFL career, so this is a huge concern for him. His third suspension resulted in him being cut by the Giants and led to him playing for the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena League before the Ravens gave him another opportunity.

Hill, 26, was in the final year of his two-year, $7.006 million contract that included $5.16 million guaranteed when he was released in a move that freed up $2.84 million in available cap space for the Ravens.

In 2015, Hill appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 64 tackles, one sack, an interception, and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 17 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
