Could Brett Favres career have finally come to a end? Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that Favre has officially filed retirement papers which would lead one to believe that he’s finally serious about calling it quits.
This doesn’t mean that Favre is guaranteed to retire because a few years back, Favre had filed his retirement papers only to come back return months later but after watching Favre this season it finally seems like he is ready to move on. The streak has ended and his 2010 season left him with more bodily harm than statistical success.
The Vikings are already working towards figuring out what direction they will go in with regards to the quarterback position.
