NFL News: Dallas Letting Marcus Spears & Gerald Sensabaugh Go

ESPN.com’s Calvin Watkins reports that the Dallas Cowboys will allow DE Marcus Spears and S Gerald Sensabaugh to test the free agent market.

Marcus Spears confirmed the news by tweeting ; “Testing the market folks!” “Thank you all in Dallas for the support it’s still possible I could be back, but it’s shaky.”

Unfortunately for the Cowboys and Spears, his career has been more disappointing than anything. The former first-round pick was limited by an injury during the 2010 season and wasn’t able to produce when he was on the field so Dallas’s decision shouldn’t surprise anyone.

As for S Gerald Sensabaugh, the team is undergoing a revamping of their anemic secondary so it’s been assumed for sometime now that he’d be on his way out.
