NFL Rumors: Miami Sticking With Henne?

During a press conference today Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland mentioned that Chad Henne remains the teams starting quarterback, per Aaron Wilson.

It’s really not surprising to see Ireland talk about Henne as the teams starting quarterback, especially after how poorly the team handle the Jim Harbaugh debacle, because he would only be increasing the already rampant rumors about who will be the teams starting quarterback comes September. Ireland is going to deflect any negative attention that can and one of the easiest ways to do this is prevent speculation.

I would still expect the Dolphins to continue to look at upgrading the position at some point, whether thats in the draft or during free agency. Miami needs more from their offense and especially the quarterback position.
