The New York state prison system has announced that the WR Plaxico Burress will be released from prison on June 6th. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has already said that Burress will be able to sign on with a team once he’s released from prison.
There has been plenty of speculation that Burress could return to the New York Giants but that isn’t a guarantee. He’ll be 34 by the time the 2011 season is underway so there will be a number of questions surrounding him.
