Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has finally made it official that they will be bringing Jeff Fisher back as the teams head coach next season.
Now that Fisher has won out over Vince Young, he’ll have to prove that this was the right decision if has any plans of returning as the Titans head coach following next season. Fisher is the final year of his contract so there is no guarantee that he’ll return if the team continues to under perform.
Jason La Canfora tweets that there have been no talks of an extension between the two parties which leaves little incentive for returning other than the possibility that Fisher would rather coach the Titans.
Fishers name has been a bit of a hot topic in the past few weeks and could garner some serious interest from other teams if given the impression that he would be available next season.
