NFL Notes: 49ers, Bears, Bengals, Lions, Rams, Redskins

49ers

• CB Tramaine Brock is expected to miss Week 11’s game against the Giants with a hamstring injury. (Eric Branch)
• 49ers RB Trey Millard returned to practice on Wednesday, but remains on the reserve/NFI list.
• 49ers DT Kaleb Ramsey returned to practice on Wednesday, but remains on the reserve/NFI list.

Bears

Jason Fitzgerald takes an in depth look at the Chicago Bears offseason decisions, the majority of which haven’t panned out for them this year.

According to Fitzgerald, the Bears will have plenty of cap space to work with next year — close to $35 million — if they want to continue targeting upgrades in free agency.

Fitzgerald expects them to replace HC Marc Trestman after the year has concluded.

Bengals

• The Bengals got CB Leon Hall, LB Rey Maualuga, and RT Andre Smith all back at practice on Wednesday. (Paul Dehner Jr.)

• Lions re-signed S Jerome Couplin to their practice squad. (Dave Birkett)

Rams

• Rams DE Chris Long returned to practice on Wednesday, but remains on the short-term injured reserve list.

Redskins
