NFL Notes: 49ers, Broncos, Colts, & Jets

49ers

Despite their win over the Falcons, 49ers HC Jim Tomsula declined to name QB Blaine Gabbert the starting quarterback after the game.

Gabbert was our starter today,” Tomsula said, via CSN Bay Area. “And I don’t have a comment past that.”

Broncos

  • Broncos OLB DeMarcus Ware was “moving gingerly” after Sunday’s game and mentioned that he expects to miss a week or two after aggravating his back injury. (Jason Cole)

Colts

  • Colts HC Chuck Pagano told reporters that rookie DE Henry Anderson suffered a “significant” knee injury.
  • Colts S Mike Adams (ankle) will have an MRI on Monday.

Jets

Jets K Nick Folk said he “felt a little pop” in his quad muscle while practicing a kickoff before the start of Sunday’s again against the Jaguars.

“I couldn’t make an extra point,” Folk said, via ESPN.com. “I tried pregame, I just couldn’t get any power into it.

Folk is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
