NFL Notes: 49ers, Buccaneers, Lions, & Raiders

49ers

  • Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that DT Glenn Dorsey is still a few weeks away from being ready to play, despite the fact that the 49ers activated him from injured reserve this week.

Buccaneers

  • RB Doug Martin took most of the first-team reps in practice this week. (Matt Baker)
  • CB Alterraun Verner (questionable, hamstring) said he’s “optimistic” that he’ll be available for Sunday’s game against the Bears. (Scott Smith)

Lions

  • Jason La Canfora is hearing that RB Reggie Bush will be a “no-go” from Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
  • Mike Florio is reporting that Bush is targeting a return for Thanksgiving’s game against the Bears.

Raiders

  • Josina Anderson of ESPN spoke to Raiders DE LaMarr Woodley who mentioned that he underwent surgery on his biceps close to a month ago and is currently sporting an arm brace. He has another appointment scheduled in three weeks.
