Chargers

  • QB Philip Rivers was named the AFC offensive player of the month for September.

Colts

  • P Pat McAfee was named the AFC special teams player of the month for September.

Cowboys

  • RB DeMarco Murray was named the NFC offensive player of the month for September.

Lions

  • LB DeAndre Levy was named the NFC defensive player of the month for September.

Raiders

  • WR Rod Streater (foot surgery) he could be back in 5-6 weeks, which would give him a shot at playing in Week 10’s game, according to his agent.  (Bill Williamson)

Seahawks

  • The Seahawks are paying WR Phil Bates an elevated pay rate of $7,300 to remain on their practice squad. (Brian McIntyre)
  • P Jon Ryan was named the NFC special teams player of the month for September.

Texans

  • DE J.J. Watt was named the AFC defensive player of the month for September.
