• ILB Navorro Bowman (knee) resumed running this week as he works to get back from a torn ACL and MCL. (49ers.com)

• The Broncos’ defense is reportedly preparing for RB Jamaal Charles to get “a lot of touches this week.“

“We definitely know they’re going to have a heavy gameplan for Jamaal,” said Broncos CB Aqib Talib, via DenverBroncos.com.

Jaguars

• S Johnathan Cyprien (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2.
• WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is expected to travel with the Jaguars for Week 2.
• The Jaguars could add undrafted rookie S Craig Loston signed to the active roster from their practice squad. (Adam Caplan)
