49ers

• TE Vernon Davis (ankle) said he’s “uncertain” about his status for Week 4 and referred to himself as day-to-day. (Matt Maiocco)

Dolphins

• Dolphins will start Dallas Thomas at right guard for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. (Omar Kelly)

Giants

• CB Jayron Hosley was reinstated from suspended list Friday. (Howard Balzer)
• The Giants have a roster exemption available for Hosley, but it will expire on Monday. (Howard Balzer)

Jets

• Former Buccaneers WR Chris Owusu visited with the Jets, but did not try out for the team. (Howard Balzer)

Patriots

• TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) put in another limited practice on Friday. (Jeff Howe)
• Patriots signed DT Ben Bass to their practice squad.
• Patriots waived OT Chris Martin from their practice squad.

Ravens

• OC Gary Kubiak mentioned that all of the team’s running backs will play in their Week 4 match up against the Panthers. (Jamison Hensley)
