49ers

  • NFL teams interested in trading for 49ers G Alex Boone are reportedly “perplexed” about what it would take to acquire the guard. (Jason La Canfora)
  • GMs around the league are “more convinced” that Alex Boone won’t be dealt, even though the two sides are not close to an extension. (Jason La Canfora)

Packers

  • Rookie TE Colt Lyerla had his salary reduced from $420,000 to $303,000 after being placed on injured reserve. Lyerla’s contract included a split salary, which explains the adjusted salary. (Rob Demovsky)

Seahawks

  • HC Pete Carroll confirmed that RB Marshawn Lynch will get some carries in Friday’s preseason game.
  • Carroll also mentioned that LB Bobby Wagner, LB Bruce Irvin and WR Kevin Norwood could all be back in a week or two. (Bob Condotta)
  • Carroll referred to RB Christine Michael as the “most-improved player on the team.” (Liz Mathews)
