NFL Notes: Adam Gase, Jim Schwartz, Dan Quinn, Ravens

Adam Gase

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears and 49ers are “very interested” in Broncos OC Adam Gase, due to his work with quarterbacks.

Jim Schwartz

  • ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that current Bills defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz may not be a match with new HC Rex Ryan.
  • According to Mortensen, Schwartz could become a “highly-valued” free agent defensive coordinator if Buffalo lets him out of his contract.

Dan Quinn

  • Despite concerns from the Jets regarding Dolphins new VP of football operations Mike Tannenbaum representing Seahawks DC Dan Quinn, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Rick Smith will handle the negotiations, instead of Tannenbaum.
