49ers

49ers DC Vic Fangio referred to reports from over the weekend regarding San Francisco fielding trade offers for OLB Ahmad Brooks as being “way out of line.”

“You know it was never mentioned to me before the trade deadline ended,” Fangio said Tuesday on KNBR in San Francisco, via NFL.com. “and I would think that if there was any seriousness going on along those ways, that Trent would have mentioned it to me. And he never did, so I think those reports are way out of line.”
