NFL Notes: Adrian Peterson, Bears, Bills, Browns, Chiefs

Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson‘s attorney, Rusty Hardin, mentioned during an appearance on Pro Football Talk Live that his client is hoping to be back on the playing field for Week 11’s game against the Bears.

Hardin said that he’s hopeful they can set up a meeting with the NFL and get Peterson reinstated at some point in the near future.

“It takes only an airplane trip to do it,” Hardin said.  “I’m hoping that can be done quickly and I’m hoping the NFL is receptive to it and agrees to it and get this issue off the front page, because it’s time for him to go back and . . . play football.

However, the NFL hasn’t offered any kind of timetable in regards to making a decision about Peterson returning to the Vikings.
