NFL Notes: Adrian Peterson, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Giants, Saints

Adrian Peterson

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk writes that although RB Adrian Peterson is likely to play football again, his future remains murky at this point in time.

According to Florio, Peterson’s looming trial could make it very difficult for the Vikings to bring him back, even if he’s acquitted.

Florio believes it might make sense for the Vikings to part ways with Peterson and give him a fresh start with another team rather than keep him and his $12.75 million salary as he enters his thirties.

After all, the Vikings could use help at a number of positions and that money could go a long way towards finding guys that can help them in the coming years.
