Bears

• The Bears are reportedly “very pleased” with WR Santonio Holmes, and he is expected to make their final roster. (Pro Football Talk)

Bills

• Bills rookie WR Sammy Watkins reportedly dodged a serious injury after he was re-injured his ribs during Thursday’s preseason finale. (Ian Rapoport)

Ravens

• NT Haloti Ngata was fined  $8,268 for kicking Redskins offensive guard Shawn Lauvao. (Aaron Wilson)

Steelers

• Steelers president Art Rooney II mentioned that they are probably done with signing players.

“There’s probably a chance we’ll do one more contract,” Rooney said, via ESPN.com. “I don’t know if we will get it done or not, but we’re pretty much done with the signing process as we’re heading into the season.“

Texans

• Randy Bullock has won the Texans’ kicking job now that they have released K Chris Boswell.
