“My man Mitch [Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky] doesn’t shy away from it either. Working with him during OTAs and minicamp has been great,” Miller said, via NBC Chicago. “I see him every day, talk to him every day and we’re just building that chemistry. He’s a relatively new guy coming into the league and so am I, and we’re looking forward to tearing it up this year.”
Miller added that he expects to “thrive” at the next level.
“Working hard has always been part of my game plan; it’s part of who I am,” Miller said. “I’ll figure out how to make whatever adjustments I need to make. I’ll thrive in the NFL just like I did in college.”
Broncos executive Tom Heckert Jr. tells Mike Klis of 9News that he is no longer working for the team and is instead focusing on his health.
“I’m going to take some time off and not work anywhere for a little while,’’ Heckert said. “The Broncos have been great. They have gone above and beyond during my time there with my health stuff. I’m getting treatment and overall I am doing well.’’
“I believe the only place Antonio wants to play is the Chargers,” Tomlinson said in an interview with Sirius XM FNL Radio. “I think he has the mind frame of ‘if I go play its gonna be for the Chargers if it’s not the Chargers then I’m good, I won’t play.”
