Bears

• Rebecca Lopez reports that the Cowboys have suspended the aggravated assault case against Broncos CB Aqib Talib, due to a lack of evidence.

Colts

Front office execs and agents alike are all wondering why the Colts are waiting to sign QB Andrew Luck to a long-term contract.

Jason La Canfora points out that the Colts will saves both cash and cap space this season by waiting on a deal, but in the end, Luck’s asking price will only increase after another solid season.

Lions

• Tim Twentyman reports that William & Mary WR/KR Tre McBride is visiting with the Lions Friday.

Redskins

• Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that USC DL Leonard Williams, Clemson OLB Vic Beasley and Miami OT Ereck Flowers will be visiting with the Redskins next week.
