Bears

  • Free agent acquisition S Danny McCray worked with the first team defensive unit Wednesday.  Rookie S Brock Vereen had been occupying that spot. (Jeff Dickerson)

Cowboys

  • Per a source, the Cowboys have a little less than $10 million in available cap space, which Clarence Hill believes is more than enough to extend WR Dez Bryant. (Clarence Hill)

Jaguars

  • Head Coach Gus Bradley expects CB Alan Ball – who is currently on the PUP list with an ankle injury – to return “within the next few days.” (Mike DiRocco)
  • Bradley said that the team will continue to work on their red zone offense, as last year they only scored touchdowns on 43.9 percent of their possessions. (Mike DiRocco)

Redskins

  • Head Coach Jay Gruden identified G Shawn Lauvao as the most improved player on the team from OTA’s until now. (John Keim)
