Bengals
- Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports mentions that there have been no indications in recent days that the Bengals and WR A.J. Green are close to reaching an agreement on a long-term deal.
Broncos
- Troy Renck of the Denver Post mentions that new G Evan Mathis was going through a full workout for the Broncos before tonight’s game, but won’t play.
- However, Renck adds Mathis is still on track for Week 1’s game.
Jaguars
- Ryan O’Halloran doesn’t see Jaguars GM David Caldwell being interested in trading for Seahawks OLB Bruce Irvin, in the event Seattle makes him available for trade.
- O’Halloran points out that Caldwell isn’t one to trade high draft picks and Irvin will be a free agent after the year.
- On top of that, O’Halloran mentions that there’s no guarantee Seattle would even be willing to trade Irvin, given that they’re still in position to make a Super Bowl run.
Seahawks
- Joel Corry expects Seahawks LT Russel Okung to view Redskins LT Trent Williams‘ new five-year, $66M extension as a “benchmark” for his next deal given that they were selected within two picks of one another.
