NFL

Bengals

• The Bengals have reportedly locked up QB Andy Dalton to a six-year extension worth $115 million. (NFLTR)

Browns

• HC Mike Pettine mentioned that he has been “very pleased” with second-year OLB Barkevious Mingo. (Tony Grossi)

Chargers

• The Chargers will employ running back-by-committee approach this season that includes Ryan Mathews, Donald Brown and Danny Woodhead. (Kevin Acee)

Patriots

• Fourth-round pick RB James White could end up cutting into Steven Ridley’s early-down carries. (Mike Reiss)

Raiders
