NFL Notes: Bengals, Browns, Chiefs, Dolphins, Jaguars, & Ravens

 

Bengals

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bengals get a long-term deal in place for WR A.J. Green before QB Andy Dalton.

La Canfora also mentions that Cincinnati is working on an extension for LB Vontaze Burfict as well.

Browns

• HC Mike Pettine said QB Johnny Manziel will receive some reps with the first-team offense. (Nate Ulrich)

Chiefs

• S Eric Berry was carted off the field to the locker room during practice with an injury to his right foot or lower leg area. (Randy Covitz)

Dolphins

• WR Mike Wallace tweaked his hamstring a few days ago and is expected to miss at least a week. (Armando Salguero)

Jaguars

• WR Tandon Doss suffered an injury to his right ankle on Thursday. Early speculation is that it could be a broken ankle. (Mark Long)

Ravens

• HC John Harbaugh confirmed that fourth-round pick DE Brent Urban has a torn ACL. “The knee just buckled,” Harbaugh said. (Aaron Wilson)
