Bills

• Bills placed LB Stevenson Sylvester on injured reserve on Wednesday.

Browns

• HC Mike Pettine said that he doesn’t want starting QB Brian Hoyer “looking over his shoulder if he makes one bad throw.” (Aditi Kinkhabwala)

Giants

• S Cooper Taylor may need surgery on foot, which could lead to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Packers

• TEs coach Jerry Fontenot said moving TE Colt Lyerla to fullback “certainly seems to fit his wheelhouse.” (Bob McGinn)

Rams

• RT Joe Barksdale said that he’s hoping to re-sign with the Rams next offseason. (Nick Wagoner)
