  • HC Gus Bradley didn’t rule out RB Denard Robinson taking over as the team’s feature running back.

“Yeah, I think so. We’ll look at the film. He did a good job and we hope to get Toby back,’’ Bradley said, via Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union.

Lions

  • WR Calvin Johnsonwasn’t particularly close to playing” on Sunday and could miss his third straight game due to a high ankle sprain as the Lions will travel to London to take on the Falcons. (Detroit Free Press)

Redskins

Redskins HC Jay Gruden didn’t rule out QB Robert Griffin III (ankle) returning for their Week 8 game.

“You would like to have your decision made as soon as possible,” Gruden said, via Tarik El-Bashir. “Now, you throw Robert into the mix. Robert has a chance to practice on Wednesday and we have to see where he is. See where he is health-wise, and from there I will make a decision from watching the tape of what I’m going to do.”
