NFL Notes: Bills, Chiefs, Jaguars, Packers, Panthers, Titans

Bills

• WR Marquise Goodwin has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game. (Mike Rodak)

Chiefs

• The Chiefs are expected to move Josh Mauga to the other inside linebacker spot once ILB Joy Mays is ready to return in two weeks. (Adam Caplan)

Jaguars

• RB Toby Gerhart has been ruled out for Week 7.

Packers

• The Packers have officially ruled out CB Sam Shields and DL Datone Jones for Week 7. (Rob Demovsky)

Panthers

• HC Ron Rivera confirmed that rookie WR Kelvin Benjamin (questionable) is still in the concussion protocol, but added that he’s encouraged by his progress this week.
• RB Jonathan Stewart will start Sunday against the Packers.

Titans

• QB Charlie Whitehurst took the majority of the first-team reps in during practice this week. (Terry McCormick)
• QB Jake Locker is officially listed as questionable for Week 7.
