NFL Notes: Bills, Cowboys, Ravens, & Seahawks

Bills

Vic Carucci reports that the Bills and Rex Ryan have “agreed in principle” on a contract for him to become their next head coach of the team.

However, nothing signed as of now.

According to Carucci, Buffalo is still working to hire Greg Roman as their offensive coordinator, but there is no word whether they will be able to retain DC Jim Schwartz, which is reportedly their “preferred plan.

Cowboys

  • Jason La Canfora is among several insiders around the league who expect Cowboys HC Jason Garrett to receive a contract extension.
  • La Canfora can’t imagine Garrett not being back with the Cowboys next year.

Ravens

  • Impending free agent RB Justin Forsett said that he is hoping to secure a multi-year contract this offseason.

Unfortunately, I’ve been in the friend zone for most of my career and hopefully I can get into a deeper commitment,” Forsett said, per Aaron Wilson.
