NFL Notes: Bills, Dolphins, Packers, Redskins

Bills

  • RB Bryce Brown said he’s surprised that he’s been a regular inactive for the Bills this season.

“I expected to play and I expected to play right away,” Brown said, via Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News. “Me not playing and inactive was a surprise.”

Dolphins

  • DE Dion Jordan will be eligible to return to practice on Monday after his suspension concludes. (Jason Cole)

Packers

  • Rookie S Nickoe Whitley visited with the Packers this week. (Rob Demovsky)

Redskins

  • HC Jay Gruden mentioned that they will try to get WR Pierre Garcon more involved in their offense.

“He’s had a couple of games where he’s had multiple catches, like you said. Then he’s had a couple games where he’s had two or three catches, which seems a little bit odd,” Gruden said, via Mike Jones of the Washington Post. “But sometimes this coverage predicates it. Sometimes he’s a feature guy and Kirk doesn’t see him, or he gets pressured or what have you. . . . But we do have to make sure we get him more touches early in games.”
