NFL Notes: Broncos, Browns, Buccaneers, Dolphins, & Saints

Broncos

Browns

  • Alex Marvez reports that there are “rumblings” that former Titans VP of player personnel Lake Dawson is being consideration for job in the Browns’ front office.

Buccaneers

Buccaneers QB Mike Glennon mentioned Thursday that he loves being in Tampa Bay and won’t ask for a trade.

I love it here in Tampa and this has been my home the last two years and I am happy to be here,” Glennon said, via PewterReport.com. “I am happy to have (offensive coordinator) Dirk (Koetter) around and I feel like I am going to learn a lot from him and continue to grow as a player and I have always wanted to be here in Tampa.

Buccaneers RB Doug Martin mentioned that he would “love to be back” in Tampa Bay next year.

However, the Bucs elected to not pick up his fifth-year option back in April. Martin says that it didn’t come as much of a surprise to him.

“It didn’t surprise me, and I don’t want to say ‘whatever,’ but it’s something that comes along with the business,” said Martin, via Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times. “This is a part of the business, and if I play to what I know I can do, everything else will fall into place.”

Dolphins

Saints

  • Saints DE Cameron Jordan confirmed that he and the team have discussed a potential contract extension for more than a year now, but there isn’t anything new to report at this time. (Katherine Terrell)
